2010 League one play off final Millwall V Swindon Town

.
Three hours before kick off and the rain has come. Just as I wanted it.
Last year our play off final with Scunthorpe was HOT!.

When Saturday Comes
Attendance 73.108

Millwall supporters pour down Wembley Way

We snake our way up from Wembley way on to the concourse

A section of the Millwall ranks

Bring on the Lions

Hand shakes, photo's and a blond

Millwall press the Swindon defence and go in at half time 1-0 up

Second half and Millwall on the attack from a corner.

The day is ours, Millwall win 1-0

Let the celebrations begin

Swindon Town players gutted, their fans leave in droves.
I know that feeling I still remember last season,

It's took a few years but a win at Wembley at last

The team take the Trophy

***Come on you Lions***

Happy days! Championship here we come and hopefully on to greater things.

Footnote:
The bloke in front of me also taking pictures holds his camera tight, but I nearly lost mine.  When we scored I jumped and touched the sky with excitement which made my camera fly out of my jacket pocket and hurtle towards the front where it whistled passed some blokes ear and crashed into a back of a chair about six rows down from me. I retrieved the camera and apart from a scratch and a dent on the top right hand corner it seems to work ok.

"Millwall way" I think he achieved this by learning early it takes a certain type of
player to work for Millwall and he already had a few there, it was just a matter of
getting some ex Millwall players back and some new players where he wanted
them and "Bobs your uncle"
