*That's your lot for this season*

Championship Deep End

Lee Gregory didn't score which meant he finished the season on nine goals and not double figures which I presume he was hoping for. I would have liked him to get his tenth because although he hasn't been banging them in on his first season in the Football League he has worked his nuts off all season and his quality of play as been more than useful for the Championship and he held his own against "big names" in the division. League One next season and he should be staying and I would like to see him and Aiden O'Brien bring terror to the opposition defences which would be the spearhead of a Neil Harris onslaught. Wishful thinking some may say, but why not? I suppose it's all about who we keep.

NOTHING TO PLAY FOR BUT WE GAVE IT AGO

The Game

We conceded four which made it seem like a bit of a hammering but that wasn't the case.We passed the ball around a bit and at times Wolves  were chasing shadows and Ed Upson was back to his best pressuring the Wolves defence while Lee Gregory and Aiden O'Brien were doing the same thing by pulling their defence all over the place.  Wolves were ok in spells and scored  in the 20th minute when Dico fired in after picking up a loose ball. He scored again early in the second half and that was that 2-0 down and we could have just give up after all there was nothing to play for, we did not and Aiden O'Brien scored up close in the 58th minute and we back in the game. Wolves scored their third in the 70th minute and at 3-1 down that seemed that .We was not finished with this game and youngster Jamie Philpot making his debut who had only been on the pitch three minutes was picked out by Ed Upson and slotted Millwall's 2nd goal and could we get a third. No we couldn't as Wolves got their 4th and the season was finished. I am gutted that we are down but next season who knows? I think they may be exciting times ahead.
