The new boss gets his first home win with his first attempt. We worked hard and was good for the win but it was a fluky goal scored by our brand new loan signing from Tottenham Ryan Fredericks that gave us the win.

Walking to the Den there was a buzz in the air as we sensed that things were on the up.  We wasn't wrong, with much more commitment and a better game plan the Lions more or less boss the game from start to finish and earn the points. That's 25 points for the season and the first win for Ian Holloway and our first win since December the 7th when we beat Wigan 2-1

Shane Lowry after the game " he makes us feel ten feet tall" I reckon he has that effect as I certainly feel ten feet tall after that gritty display and I cannot wait to get into work Monday morning.

Millwall now have a spare weekend due to the FA Cup so off to Portugal they go to improve on their fitness. As the Lions tired in this game cramp set in with some of the defenders and this I guess will be addressed in Portugal and throughout the rest of the season.

My man of the match is Danny Shittu as he was back to his near best and was rock-like in defence.

My weekends good for a change and a few pints have slid down and the dog is not hiding under the kitchen table, it knows that I'm in a good mood.

Striker DJ Campbell signs on loan from Blackburn Rovers and rejoins his old Blackpool boss I take it they are both hoping that a the goals will flow. With a spot fixing charge hanging over he's head Campbell who is on bail to April may have other things to worry about. Time will tell.
